ภาพนี้ได้แรงบรรดาลมาจากวัฒนธรรมยุคอียิปต์โบราณ ที่ชนพื้นเมืองเลี้ยงแมวเอาไว้บูชาดุจเทพเจ้า คอยให้ข้าวให้น้ำดูแลเป็นอย่างดี แต่ไม่ได้มีแค่แมวเท่านั้นที่พวกเขาบูชากัน มันมีทั้ง จระเข้ สิงโต เสือ แมว หมา และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย เมื่อสัตว์เลี้ยงเหล่านั้นตายไป พวกเขาจะพันผ้าทำมัมมี่ให้กับสัตว์เลี้ยงของเขา และนำไปไว้ที่วิหารฝังศพเดียวกับผู้มีอำนาจในสมัยนั้นๆ

ในภาพที่ผมวาดนี้ มันจะมีจุดเล็กๆน้อยๆมากมาย ที่มีความหมายเชิงลึกซ้อนอยู่ในที่ต่างๆ ดุจราวๆกับว่า มันเป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนกันระหว่างคนกับสัตว์ ที่สัตว์เองก็บูชามนุษย์ให้ความซื่อสัตย์กับมนุษย์มาโดยตลอด และมนุษย์เองก็บูชาสัตว์เหล่านี้ดุจเทพเจ้าเช่นกัน
